Cairncross Review Advisory Panel Member, and former Editor in Chief, HuffPost UK

Polly Curtis is a member of the advisory panel of the Cairncross Commission, a review that has been enacted to: examine the sustainability of high-quality journalism, investigate the overall state of the market, the role and impact of digital search engines and the role of digital advertising.

She was until recently the editor-in-chief at HuffPost UK, helping the publication expand its audience and growing a team of 6 to more than 40. Prior to joining HuffPost, Polly was director of media for the British Red Cross. From 2001 to 2016 Polly worked for the Guardian, most recently as digital editor.
